About us
Kyoto University is a major and the second oldest national university in Japan. The Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) is a research center for a wide range of IT fields including supercomputing. This booth presents about our TOP500-listed supercomputers, whose aggregate peak performance exceeds 6.4 PFlops. We also present our key research activities on supercomputing, emphasizing our collaborative research work with application programmers and the High Performance Computing Infrastructure (HPCI) project. We also demonstorate our research on visualization technology.
