We provide training and shared services to our central-Minnesota members. Throughout North America, we offer a cooperative purchasing program with over 200 awarded vendors on contract. On behalf of our 50,000 members, Sourcewell conducts competitive solicitations, awarding to the most responsive and responsible vendors at the manufacturer level. Members can purchase off these contracts through their local dealers, streamlining the procurement process. Sourcewell is driven by service and the ability to strategically reinvest in member communities. Western Region & International TCP Sales Manager Travis Townsend recently delivered a tracked EB 1415 brush chipper to the folks at the Colorado Firecamp located in Salida, CO. The Colorado Firecamp's mission is to preserve communities and conserve America's wildland resources by training students for suppression of wildfire, mitigation of wildfire risk, and stewardship of forests and grasslands. Part of this conservation effort includes clearing out dead or diseased trees and vegetation due to infestation, which is exactly what they will use their tracked 1415 for. The Colorado Firecamp was able to purchase their EB1415 chipper through a Sourcewell contract, our municipal buying program that allows governmental entities or nonprofit organizations to acquire the equipment they need while still benefiting from the support of dependable local dealers.
