Cascade Cart Solutions, a division of Cascade Engineering, was established in 1989 to supply residential and commercial containers to the solid waste & recycling industry. Since our founding, we have sold over 32 million carts and established long term customer relationships with a growing list of haulers and municipalities across North America. Along with certification from The Great Lakes Women's Business Council (WBENC) as a woman-owned, operated and controlled business, our parent company Cascade Engineering is one of the largest certified “B” corporations in the world. We understand the business of solid waste and recycling collection and are committed to helping our customers become more efficient through unique products and services that enhance operational efficiency. Our manufacturing campuses in Grand Rapids, MI and Brownsville, TX, were built specifically to handle the manufacturing and testing of large containers. Our Grand Rapids location houses the largest press in North America – a 9000 ton injection molding machine. The Cascade Cart manufacturing facility is world class, employing lean six sigma principles to produce the highest quality and most cost effective products. We use our extensive research, development and testing laboratory to meet and exceed all applicable ANSI standards.

Our truck drivers help us move products, materials, and more between campus locations, all within a 2 mile radius. Happy Earth Day! We can all make an impact no matter how small the effort. Here are four examples of low-effort, but high-impact things you can do to help our Earth for Earth Day: Reduce Single-Use Plastics: • Switch to a reusable water bottle and coffee cup. • Use reusable bags when shopping. Conserve Water: • Fix leaky faucets and pipes. • Turn off the tap when brushing teeth. Reduce Energy Consumption: • Switch off lights when leaving a room. • Unplug chargers and appliances when not in use. Plant Trees: • Participate in community tree planting initiatives. • Support organizations that work to protect and preserve forests. Last week, we had the privilege of hosting over 35 students from Ferris State University pursuing a variety of degree programs – Product Design Engineering, Polymer Plastics, Manufacturing Engineering, and Industrial Chemistry. We toured these students through our Buursma Plant and Noble Polymers so they could get an in-depth understanding of the many facets of our business. Thank you to Ferris State and our team on campus for creating a positive experience for these students!
