With Maternal Mental Health Month just a few weeks away, Postpartum Support International is excited to announce the launch of our PSI Maternal Mental Health 2024 Month Campaign: We Are 1 in 5 Social Media Tool Kit, available now at https://lnkd.in/et_Aib4y. We invite you to join the #WeAre1in5 campaign and bring together the voices of PMHD survivors around the world. This year, we will share a diverse selection of stories that tell the struggles, hope, and recovery of those who have been affected by a PMHD. With your help, we hope to bring together PMHD survivor stories from different cities, cultures, religions, and countries across the globe through our social media campaign #WeAre1in5. We want every new mom to know: You are not alone. Although Perinatal Mental Health Disorders (PMHDs) affect an estimated 800,000 new parents each year, the topic of mental health can be a mystery to many. PSI wants to change the story by sharing YOUR story and breaking the silence about PMH Disorders. Browse the media kit to learn about content creation and storytelling campaign opportunities, or fill out our storytelling forum at https://lnkd.in/ege7tfD6 to submit your maternal mental health story. Visit the link in our bio to change the story by sharing YOUR story #WeAre1in5. Don't forget to shop 'We Are 1 in 5' Campaign T-Shirts and Merch. Visit the official PSI MMH Month 2024 today for 25% of your purchase to go directly towards supporting PSI. Link in bio or visit https://lnkd.in/eyT9a733.

“We know the people who need us most often have very little time to care for their own needs, so we are always looking for ways to welcome them into our community. This app embodies our commitment to providing accessible, stigma-free support for individuals navigating the mental health challenges surrounding pregnancy, postpartum, and/or loss. With Connect by PSI, we want to educate, empower, and uplift those affected by perinatal mental health disorders and foster a sense of community on their journey to healing.” Wendy Davis, Executive Director of Postpartum Support International #femtech #womenshealth #womenshealthinnovation #health #healthcare #healthcareinnovation #healthtech #digitalhealth #app #maternalhealth #mentalhealth #postpartum #perinatalhealth

In commemoration of Mother’s Day and Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we’ve teamed up with @mixbook to raise awareness and extend support to mothers facing maternal mental health challenges – postpartum and beyond. With the “Moments of Motherhood” campaign, 10% of profits from Mixbook’s select photobook collection will go towards our mission to improve maternal mental health awareness and support. During May, you can give the gift of precious memories while giving back to mothers in need. We cordially invite families everywhere to celebrate their favorite memories and create a meaningful keepsake using one of Mixbook’s special photobook templates within the “Moments of Motherhood” collection. Together, we can make this Mother’s Day extra special with a gift that gives back. By thoughtfully purchasing one of these 10 photobooks, not only are you memorializing mom’s favorite memories, but you’re also supporting our mission to improve mental health for mothers at every stage of their journey. Thank you @psi_wisconsin for volunteering and representing PSI at the 1st Annual Wisconsin Doulas Association Conference April 19-20th. “Grateful to present on perinatal mental health at the @widoulas_inc first conference! Connected with some of my favorite colleagues, including ourboard member Christina! I learned so much from the doulas at my presentation, excellent discussions. Doulas are angels walking among us. A big takeaway: Insurance coverage for doula services needs to happen. The benefits are numerous- including prevention and detection for perinatal mental health. What a great conference!” — @momsmentalhealthinitiative #doulas #doulasofwisconsin #postpartumdoula #blackdoulas #doulasupport #perinatalmentalhealth #momsmentalhealth
