Sam Colachis is a Research Scientist at Battelle focused on medical device research and development with four years of experience in neurorehabilitation technology. He has an extensive background in physiological signal processing, mathematical and computational modeling of biological systems, and experience with machine learning.
Mr. Colachis is a key contributor on the NeuroLife project at Battelle, primarily focused on designing, conducting, and leading clinical research, creating algorithms for collecting and analyzing clinical data, and developing software to advance the current neurorehabilitation system. He is also a key contributor on two neurotechnology DARPA contracts, N3 and INI. His work also includes projects focused on peripheral nerve stimulation, bioelectronic medicine, and drug delivery devices.
Mr. Colachis received both his BS and MS in biomedical engineering at The Ohio State University.
