Jennifer S. Brach, PhD, PT, FAPTA, is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Brach is a physical therapist and an epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience conducting aging and mobility research. She was a Beeson Scholar and currently is funded by a K24 Midcareer Investigator Award in Translational Patient-Oriented Research in Aging to mentor beginning scholars to become successful, independent researchers. She has received funding from PCORI and NIH to conduct clinical trials of exercise to improve mobility in older adults. She is a national and international speaker and has over 100 peer-reviewed publications.
