Dr. Hu is a postdoctoral fellow at Wayne State University in the Habits, Occupation, and Participation Laboratory. She earned her doctoral degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. She is trained as a translational research scientist in occupational therapy and rehabilitation science. Her research interests include fall prevention programs and health behavior interventions that enhance successful aging among medically underserved older adults. She is currently working with her mentor, Dr. Heather Fritz, on frailly prevention among older African Americans.
