Dr. Michael Chiou is a chief resident at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with plans to pursue a traumatic brain injury fellowship. He completed his medical education at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he also completed his preliminary training, before moving on to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai for his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency. He has research interests in brain injury medicine and pulmonary rehabilitation of unweanable ventilator-dependent patients.
