The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC), a computational research center of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, provides advanced computing systems and the expertise needed to get the most out of them. PSC’s hardware, software and experts work to expand the boundaries of knowledge and solve problems facing humanity. PSC receives support from federal agencies, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and private industry; it is a leading partner in XSEDE (Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment), the National Science Foundation cyberinfrastructure program.
