Plan to incorporate "Barefoot Tofino" switches into P4-Testbed in 2021.
- Muti-tenant capabilities
In our SC20 demo, we create two network slices on the P4-Testbed automatically. Both slices have IP routers and a few virtual machines(VM) on their networks.
The NICT promotion video stream is distributed from an edge VM to another VM over one slice, while another slice is used to transfer a volume of data.

Currently, P4-Testbed provides software-based P4 switches (BMv2) on five sites in Japan. The testbed users can create several networks (slices) having P4 switches and virtual machines(VM) on P4-Testbed.
