HPE Cray EX Supercomputer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise

The HPE Cray EX supercomputer is a liquid cooled, blade-based, high-density clustered computer system designed from the ground up, as its HPE Slingshot interconnect and its Cray ClusterStor E1000 storage, to deliver the utmost in performance, scale, and density. This architecture was selected by all exascale leadership sites of the U.S. Department of Energy – Argonne National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory – for their first exascale systems. If you are not planning to reach exascale any time soon, don’t worry!  The HPE supercomputing architecture was designed to bring those technologies to every enterprise data center of any size over time.   HPE Cray supercomputers deliver application HPC and AI performance at scale, provide an optimal solution for tens to hundreds to thousands of nodes, and deliver consistent, predictable, and reliable performance, ensuring high productivity on large-scale workflows.
