Edwin J Steck, P.E., C.M.E., is Sr. Vice President, and Department Manager at T&M Associates since 2005. Mr. Steck received his undergraduate engineering degree from the College of Environmental Sciences & Forestry at Syracuse University and his master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering from Villanova University.
He has 43 years of experience and has been providing Municipal Engineering Services since 1985 and has been the appointed Municipal Engineer for numerous communities over his career. Presently he is the Engineer of Record for the Borough of National Park, a position that he has held from 1985-1987 and from 1990 to the present. He is also the Engineer of Record for West Deptford Township since 1989 to 2011 and from 2015 to the present.
Notable projects that have been completed under his oversight include many infrastructure utilities projects. For the Borough of National Park he was the Principal-In -Charge for the Refurbishment of the Water Treatment Plant which included a new green sand filters and building, elevated water storage tank and replacement wells He is presently the Principal-in-Charge for the design of the expansion of the Borough’s water plant to include Activated Carbon Filters for the treatment of PFNA's.
Over his career he has been responsible for the upgrade of a dozen sanitary sewer pump stations and replaced miles of water mains and sanitary sewers. As municipal engineer he is also responsible for drainage improvement projects, roadway rehabilitation projects, environmental permitting, energy efficiency projects and rehabilitation of publicly owned buildings.
