Gregory Tramontozzi has served as Executive Director of the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (“PVSC”), the fifth largest publicly-owned treatment works in the United States, since 2015. As PVSC’s chief executive officer, Mr. Tramontozzi is responsible for the day-to-day operation of an organization that serves more than 1.5 million residential and several hundred industrial and large commercial customers. Mr. Tramontozzi manages a staff of 590 employees and oversees an operating budget of $185 million. Mr. Tramontozzi has managed the post-Superstorm Sandy recovery and resiliency hardening of PVSC's 140-acre treatment plant, including administration of FEMA-funded engineering and construction projects with a value in excess of $500 million. Mr. Tramontozzi previously served as PVSC’s first in-house General Counsel from 2011 to 2015. In that position, Mr. Tramontozzi oversaw PVSC’s multifaceted legal needs, including contract negotiations and related disputes, employment issues, environmental/regulatory concerns, labor relations, and various litigation.
