Sustainable Jersey

Sustainable Jersey is a FREE certification program that recognizes municipalities for implementing a wide range of sustainability initiatives. Acting with state agencies, non-profits, academia, and industry, we develop best practices, provide free training and technical assistance, and facilitate collaboration to address today’s environmental, economic, and social challenges. 81% of NJ’s municipalities are participating and eligible for grant opportunities; to date, $5.6 million in grants awarded.
