The National EMS Information System has made incredible strides in translating data contained within Patient Care Reports into knowledge that is moving the EMS industry forward. Participants will hear how NHTSA is working to improve emergency system outcomes in the American health system by promoting data sharing, expanding stakeholder engagement, enhancing interoperability and integrating data systems that allow access to critical information. Attend this session to more fully appreciate the value of an organizational information culture established to aid emergency services, hospital and other clinicians in the provision of safer, more effective and efficient patient care.
