Sr. Director of Fire Products ESO Austin, Texas, United States
During my time as the Fire Chief of a growing department in one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States, we struggled with the hiring of high-quality people and competed against other departments who were searching for quality members as well. We worked with recruiting firms, education facilities, and department members. We created a recruiting program that changed how we worked on recruiting as an agency and painting a story of the department. We were able to double applicants, draw experienced firefighters, and get high quality well-educated entry-level employees looking for a place to make a difference as well as having a 97% retention rate This program will give you information on what was done by our agency and what the workforce want to know to select you.
