Elizabeth is a Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science. She is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with her primary clinical experience gained working with older adults in sub-acute rehabilitation. Elizabeth is interested in conducting both basic and applied research in the area of cognitive-communication with individuals who have neurological impairments. Her research goals include examining cognitive control in aging and age-related diseases through the use of behavioral and neural methods, and the development of cognitive rehabilitation interventions.
