Research Scientist

Providence, Rhode Island
I received my PhD in biostatistics from Brown University in August, 2019. My dissertation research developed statistical methodology to perform accurate linkage of data sources when identifying information is limited due to data confidentiality restrictions, and also proposed methods to estimate causal effects using linked data sources. These methods have also been applied to examine the impact of meals provided by Meals on Wheels programs to reduce the healthcare burden among its Medicare recipients by linking Medicare claims data and Meals on Wheels client information. Another application of this methodology seeks to compare clinical outcomes among older patients with traumatic brain injury across different post-hospitalization discharge designations through linkage of trauma registry data with Medicare claims data. I am currently a research scientist in the real world analytics – immunology group at Eli Lilly and Company.
