Dr. Vu Q. C. Nguyen graduated from Drake University with College Honors distinction majoring in Biology/Pre-Medicine with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. He achieved his MD from Michigan State University. After an internship in Michigan, he served as a general medical officer in the United States Air Force for 4 years. After an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force, he returned to the United States and finished his medical training in PM&R at Carolinas Medical Center/Carolinas Rehabilitation. Administratively, he is currently the Vice Chair of Academics and Residency Program Director for the Department of PM&R at Carolinas Medical Center. Clinically, he serves as the Medical Director of Stroke Rehabilitation and Medical Director of the Specialty Clinics at Carolinas Rehabilitation
