Annalise Fletcher is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at the University of North Texas, where she directs the Motor Speech Disorders Laboratory. She completed clinical training as a Speech and Language Therapist in New Zealand, and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She went on to earn her Ph.D. in Speech and Language Sciences from the University of Canterbury in 2016 and completed further post-doctoral training at the New Zealand Institute of Language, Brain, and Behaviour. Her research examines neurological speech disorders, with a focus on the development of objective tools for measuring speech therapy outcomes. She received a Fulbright Scholarship Award in 2015, and has published articles in the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research, the American Journal of Audiology, the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica and the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology. She is currently serving as an editorial board member on the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research.
