Dr. Nina Suresh received her B.S. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Univerity of Illinois-Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. She is currently a research scientist and a co-director of the Sensory Motor Performance Program at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab and Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, USA.
Her research focuses on investigating the neural control of muscle, both in neurologically intact individuals as well as in individuals who have suffered a neurological injury, such as stroke or spinal cord injury, with an emphasis on spasticity and weakness in stroke.
