Hussain Zandam Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy, The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. His research goal is towards providing data and evidence to inform policies and practices for strengthening and supporting inclusive health systems for people with disabilities. His research interest center around disability living experience and the contribution of rehabilitation to participation, health outcomes and quality of life. Prior to joining Heller School, Hussain was Community Rehabilitation Coordinator in Nigeria where he developed and implemented community-based projects committed to responding to health care and basic needs of vulnerable populations especially people with disabilities. Participation in the Annual Conference of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine is a huge opportunity for him to present and network with colleagues in the field of rehabilitation.
