Dr. Rim is a board-certified physiatrist and pain management specialist and currently the Medical Director of the Presurgical Chronic Pain Management at Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to joining HSS, she served as Chief of Pain and Palliative Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital. She received her medical degree at New York Medical College, completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is also a clincial assistant professor in both the Deparment of Rehabilitation Medicine and Departement of Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
