Jeannette Lee, PT, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the joint University of California-San Francisco/ San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy. She is board-certified clinical specialist in oncologic physical therapy. Her areas of expertise are in acute care and oncology rehabilitation, where she has written and presented at the local, national, and international level. She is certified in manual lymphatic drainage/ comprehensive decongestive therapy for lymphedema. She received her entry-level physical therapy degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, and her master’s degree and PhD from Texas Woman's University in Houston, TX. Her research interests include physical performance and activity monitoring in individuals with cancer, clinical assessments and interventions in cancer and secondary lymphedema, and evaluation of outcome measures used in oncology rehabilitation. She is a member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association.
