In the past 22 years as an occupational therapist, I have worked in all care settings; Inpatient acute, inpatient rehab, inpatient psych, skilled nursing, home health, school, and outpatient Neuro Rehab. My focus since 2014 has been on outpatient neuro rehabilitation of individuals with all neuro diagnoses; Post stroke, neurodegnerative diseases, neuromuscular diseases, post concussion, functional neurological disorders, and brain cancer. I am the founding chair of the Stanford Rehab Education Coordinating Council. I actively contribute to the Stanford Stroke Studies team, function as the primary OT for the Stanford Neuromuscular Clinic, and work as the rehab representative for the Functional Neurological Disorders Consortium. I am working on studies to assist with stroke recovery, and predicting rehab needs for patients with ALS.
