Catherine Adans-Dester received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Physical Therapy from the Haute Ecole de la Province de Liege Andre-Vesale, in Belgium. She practiced physical therapy in a hospital setting and part time in a private practice, mostly focused on pediatric neurorehabilitation. She received her PhD in the Rehabilitation Sciences from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Profession (MGH IHP) in Boston, Massachusetts. Her research interests are in rehabilitation technologies and assessment of recovery in neurological rehabilitation. Catherine is a research fellow in the Motion Analysis Laboratory at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
