Dr. Allison Kessler completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard University followed by a Masters of Science at the London School of Economics. She attended Medical School at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and her residency at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. She then completed her fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab (Formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago). She is now an attending physician in the division of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine treating both inpatients and outpatients at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab. She is active in teaching with medical students through the Feinberg School of Medicine as the Teamwork and Leadership Thread Leader and with medical students, residents and fellows at the Shirley Ryan Abilitylab. She is also the associate fellowship director for the Northwestern Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Fellowship.
