Medical Director of Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation
I am a physiatrist with fellowship training and board certification in brain injury medicine. My primary interest is in medical rehabilitation. I am the medical director of acquired brain injury rehabilitation (ABI) at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA. I see patients in our inpatient rehabilitation units at Shepherd Center and sit on multiple committees within the ABI program focusing on programmatic improvement and strategic planning. I also teach residents in PM&R from Emory University and have won the resident teaching award four times over the last eight years.
I have served as a governor-appointed commissioner on the Georgia Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Commission (GTBSCIC) for the last 10 years.
