Elisabeth Bø PT, PhD, is working as a physical therapist, researcher and coordinator at Oslo University Hospital. She has practiced for many years as a physiotherapist in the field of rehabilitation with different patient groups, including patients with cardiovascular disease, lower limb amputation, hip fractures and stroke. Dr. Bø was the project coordinator of FIRST-Oslo - Focused Intensive Repetitive Step Training in patients with stroke in cooperation with the SouthEastern Regional Center for Knowledge Translation in Rehabilitation (RKR; Oslo, Norway). She also teaches at Oslo Metropolitan University (former Oslo and Akershus University College), Institute of Physiotherapy.
