Inbal Eshel, MA, CCC-SLP serves as Lead Implementation Subject Matter Expert for the Knowledge Implementation Capability of the Research and Development arm of the Defense Health Agency. In this role, she leads a team in applying best practices from implementation science to support the maximization of clinical care within the Military Health System. Previously, she crafted Clinical Recommendations as a Traumatic Brain Injury Subject Matter Expert for the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, and spearheaded the widely acclaimed Cognitive Rehabilitation for Service Members and Veterans following Mild to Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury: Clinical Recommendations. She possesses over a dozen years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in civilian and military settings, most recently as the lead Traumatic Brain Injury Speech-Language Pathologist at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Internationally recognized as an expert in her field, she is frequently called upon to contribute to and spearhead initiatives to maximize the provision of Speech-Language Pathology services to Service members and Veterans. Among her extensive professional service, she has served as Chair/Co-chair of ACRM's Community Reintegration Task Force under the Military and Veterans Affairs Networking Group since 2018.
