Celeste graduated from the University Nebraska Medicine Center with a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. She has practiced at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals since 2015 as an inpatient physical therapist in numerous settings included skilled nursing, long term acute care and acute rehab. In 2017, she became Madonna’s inpatient and outpatient Cancer Program Manager and created Madonna’s cancer rehab program with the support and collaboration from regional and national cancer rehabilitation professionals. Celeste has continued her education in Cancer Rehabilitation by attending numerous regional and national cancer seminars and conferences. She has been a member of ACRM and ACRM’s CRNG since 2017, joining the CRNG Educational Task force in 2018. She assists in hands on education and training of new clinical staff and students in various rehab disciplines regarding safe patient handling/positioning and cancer rehabilitation. She has created and presented numerous cancer related continuing education courses to staff within her facility and ACRM 2019 conference. Celeste is passionate about education and care of patients, families, and caregivers in the unique aspect of the cancer survivor.
