Kathleen is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow with the UAB Center for Outcomes and Effectiveness Research and Education, and a PhD student in the Rehabiliation Science program in the UAB School of Health Professionals. Kathleen's research is focused on examining clinical measures and assessment methods for children with Cerebral Visual Impairment. She is also interested in the examination of models to promote earlier and increased assessment and service delivery for those with low vision. Prior to research, Kathleen worked as an Occupational Therapist at UW Medicine- Harborview Medical Center, Children's of Alabama, and The Bell Center for Early Intervention.
