As a Principal Research Engineer at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), my research is focused on interactive media applications and embedded computing tools in conjunction with connected home technologies supporting independence and healthy living. I am also Director of the Georgia Tech Aware Home Research Initiative, which is well-known for research in aging-in-place technologies. In this role, I am considering methods of leveraging connected living and custom-developed technologies to improve the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. My research in the domain of healthy aging includes projects such as demonstrating integration and analysis of data from in-home, mobile, and wearable technologies to provide further insight about personal wellness.
