Sarah Donkers is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. Previously she worked clinically as a neuro physiotherapist for over 10 years with a focus on maximizing function and quality of life for persons living with neurodegenerative conditions. Her research includes investigating the use of behaviour change strategies for physical activity promotion and physical rehabilitation in neurological conditions, with an emphasis on targeting physical activity behaviour change in the routine management of multiple sclerosis. Sarah enjoys exploring novel ways of applying behavioural science and implementing rehabilitation interventions to optimize neurorecovery.
