Dr. Jared Gollie is the Director of the Skeletal Muscle Laboratory at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, where he is studying the implications of chronic conditions and aging on fatigability and physical function using a combination of non-invasive methods and clinical measures. He is a recipient of a VA Career Development Award (CDA-2) to investigate methods for assessing fatigability in Veterans with chronic kidney disease and the effects of exercise. Dr. Gollie holds faculty positions in the Department of Health, Human Function and Rehabilitation Sciences at The George Washington University and Rehabilitation Science Department at George Mason University. He has previously served as Chair of the Fitness & Wellness Task Force for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Spinal Cord Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group.
