I have been working as a clinical scientist in the neurorehabilitation field for the past 15 years. I focus my
research on severe brain-injured patients and, more particularly, on the assessment of brain and cognitive
activity using behavioral, electrophysiological and neuroimaging techniques. I have published around 100
articles (H-index: 50) in journals such as Neurology, Annals of Neurology, Lancet and Science. I serve as
the chair of the Special Interest Group on Disorders of Consciousness for the International Brain Injury
Association (~200 members). I currently work as assistant director at the Research Institute of Casa
Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare (Pomona, CA).
