Program Director, Refugee Family Literacy Program (Friends of Refugees)| Clarkston, GA | Aug. 2012 – Present. Leads program development and delivery, including supporting 48 staff, weekly volunteers, ESOL and children’s curriculum, all program fundraising, and all program evaluation. Develops and maintains partnerships with the Center for Pan-Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS), Nell Hodgson School of Nursing at Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health at Emory, Georgia State University Department of Communication Disorders, Georgia State University Department of Occupational Therapy as well as DeKalb County Public Library and other community groups. Represents the program at national family literacy conferences and has presented at the statewide Georgia Teachers of English as a Second or Other Language (GATESOL) Conference.
