Dr. Zachary Boychuck (OT, PhD) is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Faculty Lecturer at McGill University's School of Physical and Occupational Therapy.
Dr. Boychuck is a member of the Person-Centred Health Informatics Research Lab, where his postdoctoal research focuses on the development and evaluation of e-health technologies. Specifically, evaluating the implementation and scalability of digital health solutions for people with chronic conditions, mainly electronic Patient Reported Outcome Measures (ePROMs), patient portals, and clinical information systems to support community rehabilitation and self-management.
Dr. Boychuck’s doctoral research focused on early-identification of cerebral palsy (CP), and used a mixed-methods integrated knowledge translation approach to create knowledge translation tools for primary-care practitioners (family physicians, pediatricians, nurse practitioners) and parents to increase awareness of the early-motor signs of CP that should PROMPT referral for diagnosis and simultaneous referral for rehabilitation services for children suspected of having CP.
