Susan Johnson was the past Director of Brain Injury Services at Shepherd Center. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with her Masters in Speech Language Pathology and has over 37 years of experience in rehabilitation. She has developed programs for people with brain injury from acute to long term services. She has been an advocate for people with brain injury and their families and been active with the Brain Injury Association of America and Georgia. Susan was one of the policy makers for the Georgia Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund and became the Vice Chair and the Chair of the Statewide Advisory Committee. She currently is the Chair of the Family Education Committee DOC BI ISIG of ACRM. She has presented at numerous local, regional and national seminars. Since Retirement she has been developing a free rehabilitation clinic for brain and spinal cord injuries in Georgia.
