Stroke rehabilitation researchers and stroke rehabilitation therapists share the common goal of reducing disability for the individual with stroke. However, the translation of knowledge between the research lab and therapy clinic is challenging. This presentation will review several examples of successful translation of research into clinical applications. The central focus will be the rehabilitation therapist as the bridge between research and practice.
