In this Special Symposium, Dr. Lyn Jakeman will discuss the status of SCI-focused research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), summarize input provided by stakeholders on the research gaps identified at the SCI 2020 meeting, and present priorities for SCI research in the coming decade. This symposium will be of value to SCI researchers at all points on the career continuum, and will help align the efforts of the SCI research community with areas of need to advance the state of the science of SCI care, and maximize health and quality of life for people living with SCI.
