This symposium will provide an overview of research projects related to movement and exercise being performed by members of the Multiple Sclerosis Task Force (MSTF). Specifically, four speakers will talk about  eye movement and its relation to cognition in MS, motor learning in MS, exercise in individuals with MS with moderate to severe disability, and behavioral change that can help individuals with MS to exercise.

Learning Objectives:

• Upon completion of this symposium, the audience will be able to describe how eye movement can influence cognitive processes in individuals with MS.
• Discuss functional mobility and upper limb manipulation motor skills in multiple sclerosis as well as associated neural processes
• Upon completion of this symposium, the audience will be able to discuss current research on how to increase physical activity and decrease sedentary behavior
• Discuss rehabilitation interventions to improve function in people with MS with significant walking impairment or use a wheelchair.
