Dr. Sarah Martindale is a Research Scientist at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. Dr. Martindale has a research background in behavioral neuroscience and advanced training in neuropsychological assessment. Her program of research broadly spans investigations on clinical and functional outcomes of co-occurring conditions in veterans returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has specific research interest in sleep as an effective behavioral treatment target for veterans with complex, combat-related conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorder (SUD).
