I am excited to serve as a Research Assistant with Dr. Teri Pogoda on her study Facilitators and Barriers to Implementing Supported Employment for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury. I am a Social Science Specialist at VA Boston Healthcare Center, in the Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR). At CHOIR I have 2 years of experience contributing to the qualitative analysis of numerous projects, including those evaluating organizational processes affecting patient care. My main research foci include de/implementation research, optimizing psychiatric appointments for mental health Veteran patient care, developing tools for Veterans and providers to use in conjunction for mental health care planning, and researching long-term outcomes for Veterans who have experienced TBI. Outside of my qualitative expertise I am involved with the Veterans Engagement in Research Group (VERG) at CHOIR, and I am a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, with a focus on how to improve workplace culture.
