Dr. Trish Manns is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Her research focuses on: 1) increasing knowledge of activity behaviour and its relation to functional and health outcomes in persons with neurological conditions (primarily stroke and multiple sclerosis and stroke); and 2) the development of strategies to change and maintain activity behaviour. Prior to Dr. Manns’ appointment at the University of Alberta in 2003, she completed graduate work at the University of Saskatchewan and Oregon State University and worked clinically as a neurological physical therapist in both Canada and the United States.
