Dr. Chloe Slocum is currently an attending physician at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Instructor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. She received her doctoral degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Master of Public Health Degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Slocum completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and served as Chief Resident from 2014-2015. She is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and currently serves as the Director of Health Policy for the Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Associate Director of Quality for Spaulding Rehabilitation Network. Dr. Slocum’s research interests focus on sacral function following spinal cord injury, public health, and access to quality care for persons with SCI and her work has been published widely in journals such as PM&R, Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
