Liz K. Freeman, MA, BC-DMT, is a dance/movement therapist working at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), an integrative treatment program for active duty service members with traumatic brain injury and associated psychological health symptoms at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. She is the Lead Dance/Movement Therapist for the Creative ForcesĀ®: NEA Military Healing Arts Network. Her previous clinical work has been with adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges due to a history of trauma in both residential and outpatient settings. She graduated from Beloit College with a BA in Dance, and received her MA in Dance/ Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University of New England.
