Anne Fleischer has been an occupational therapist for 33 years. She received her undergraduate degree in OT from the University of Missouri-Columbia, her masters in public health in the area of health behavior and health education from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her PhD in occupational therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She worked 24 years at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem North Carolina where she developed her interest and clinical skills in oncology rehabilitation. She currently is an associate professor at Eastern Kentucky University where she has taught full time for 5 years. Cancer survivorship and interprofessional care are her areas of research.
