Erin is a physical therapist and helped develop the Center for advanced technology and robotic rehabilitation at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in 2014. Erin is actively involved with treating patients and assisting the center in research development. Erin has visited multiple centers around the country and actively stays engaged with research articles surrounding advancing technology in rehabilitation. Since opening the center and performing one clinic based study as well as running retrospective analysis, it has allowed her to be more engaged and involved with how important clinically and functionally relevant outcome measures are for the patient population. Erin works on incorporate standardized tests and measures and begun to track outcomes on all patients. All of the experience over the past 8 years has helped Erin get to a point where she feels strongly about her technical expertise in the use of the devices in this field. Working in a pediatric institution she is able to provide sound knowledge on the differences between pediatric and adult patients in how they interact with the devices and safely use the devices.
