Dagmar Siebold received her physiotherapy degree at the Reha-Centre Berlin in 1985. From the beginning her main focus was in the pediatric field. In the first years she worked in different pediatric departments - psychiatric, orthopadic and neurological. In 1991 she studied for two years to London to received a specialization in the treatment of children with CP, in the age range of 3 months to 7 years. In 1994 she opened her own physiotherapy clinic, with the focus in neuropediatrics and rehabilitation. Beginning of 2000 she developed a close cooperation with the neuroorthopaedic department of the Charité Berlin (Prof. Dr. Placzek). From 2003 she developed the concept of Baby-CIMT. In the last twenty years of her Professional life she developed her own therapy model for children with neuropediatric diseases at very early ages. (early intervention). Beides her professional work she did her bachelor studies for physiotherapy from 2013-2015.
At the moment she is involved in a research project together with the Technical University of Berlin, initiated from the minister of research, to developed new technologies in the therapy of unilateral CP, especially hand function.
